God of strength
God of wisdom
God of hope and immaculate love
I am weak and I grow weary by the minute
I grow discouraged by this burden I bear
Oh God, my heart’s cry now hear

Lord please take my weakness
In exchange for power and might

Take my ignorance and grant me understanding
Where I am plagued with despair
Give me faith to achieve and do
Let me see the greater purpose in what I go through

Grant me a changed heart and attitude
In exchange for my past and present resentments
~~~
Father, when the burden becomes too much
Fortify my muscles, lighten my load
Bless me with a measure of strength sufficient to carry the load
Rid me of that which is not for me to carry
As I willingly let go
Cause me to trust you more today and always.
